This Vidyalaya comes under Defence Sector in KVS Chennai Region which has 53 schools under it in Kerala, TN and Pondicherry. KV Island Grounds is located very close to Chennai central railway station, on Body guard road now known as Pallavan Salai, very near to Body Guard Muneeshwarar Temple. Housed in a sprawling 6.6 Acres of Army land, among lush green trees, surrounded by beautiful aesthetically laid out garden, the Vidyalaya has a huge building,.
